We are looking forward to welcoming you in our lovely house, named after an admirals wife, which has been an Inspector house for many years, and have accommodated the farm's many fellows and girls in its heyday. Now it houses the Edelsminde Bed & Breakfast. We look forward to hosting you for one night or more in one of the most beautiful and well-appointed rooms.
Our location is 500 meters from Gisselfeld Monastery, 6 km. South of Haslev, is a very good starting point for countless excursions and experiences in a part of Sealand that holds everything from the "Svenske kløften" to Camp Adventure and BonBon land.
Edelsminde Bed & Breakfast is housed in the old farm (farm that is split off from a larger agriculture) from Gisselfeld. The original farm is from the 1800-century and was named after the admirals wife Edele Sophie Kaas. The current building is from 1932, and still carries the name Edelesminde. When choosing the name of the Bed & Breakfast & we opted to simplify it to the more bite-sized "Edelsminde".
The architecture is inspired by the Inspector house with large rooms and high ceilings in the west end part of the house, and a farm with space for Fellows, and girls, and kitchen and living room in the east end of the building.
In short: A house with the right frames for a Bed & Breakfast!
